42 Million Jobs Created Versus 24 million, Yet Another Democratic Economic Success Story

And remember in November, Willard Romney wants to re-institute the George W. Bush economic policies that produced the worst job creation numbers since Herbert Hoover, the second deepest economic downturn since the Republican gifted Great Depression and the worst accumulation of national debt since Ronald Reagan.

Romney is doubling down on the most disastrous economic policy in 70 years. That seems like a bad idea to me.

Job Performance, Obama Versus Bush, -a microcosm of the last 80 years-

The above graph provides yet more documentation of the 80 year history of comparison of Democratic and Republican administrations on job growth. The red line documents private sector employment, the blue line government sector employment.

Under George W. Bush private sector employment DECREASED by 6oo,ooo jobs.
Under President Obama private sector employment INCREASED by  300,000 jobs.
Under George W. Bush government sector employment INCREASED by 1,700,000 jobs.
Under President Obama government sector employment DECREASED by 600,000 jobs.

While Republicans run on empty promises of smaller government and their imaginary ability to manage the economy their record always points in the opposite direction, big spending, pitiful job creation and massive deficit spending.

President Obama's Record On Job Creation Is 157,143 Per Month Since 4/ 2010, - better than any Republican President-

Since President Obama's economic policies ended the George W. Bush gifted Great Recession, halted staggering monthly job losses that approached 800,000, and returned the nation to positive job growth in record time he has enjoyed a private sector job creation rate that exceeds the 1st term job creation record of ANY Repulican President in history.

Below is a table which shows job creation by President for ALL terms served. Reagan's record in his first term in ofice was 109,000 per month. Reagan inherited stellar job creation from President Carter of 216,666 and by the end of his 1st term, cut it in nearly in half. President Obama inherited the deepest drop in job loss since the Great Depression and has since April of 2010 outperformed every Republican president 1st term record on job creation.

When examining the record of job creation we must look where President Obama started out to fully understand how far he has taken us as a nation down the road to recovery.

Five Charts Every American Voter Should See Before 2012 -History repeats itself-

President Obama Is Repeating The Same Pattern That Led President Clinton To 5 Balanced Budgets (that's 5 more balanced budgets than the last 5 Republican presidents -combined-)

President Obama Is Repeating The Same Fiscal Responsibility Of His Democratic Predecessors see also: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlAhPOZyGsmZ0EROxGQFcToYmnitgQfoR-biirj6yu9kYMOcoqVPwKhVkQjwRWR9p_Ketd8rOZwYft2aarwI3CO2flPGLIKnVrIPMjj7C285MHyfuL1zaCeNV-kILJ9DBfjxdLam72W58/s640/Revenue_Spending_bypresident.jpg

Prior to President Obama's stimulus, we were losing private sector jobs through 2008 at a rapidly accelerating pace.

During 2009, starting immediately after the stimulus passed in Feb 2009, the loss trend reverses.

We then begin to GAIN private sector jobs.

And here are two more detailed graphs on the dynamic between private and public sector job creation:

States and localities have eliminated 671,000 jobs since employment peaked in August 2008" "Public" sector job creation remains the biggest drag on the overall employment issue.

The ADP National Employment Report said private payrolls rose by 201,000 in March, slightly below estimates. Yet the average monthly increase the past four months is 211,000, up from gains of 74,000 from August to September.

"It seems clear to me hiring is picking up, and we're going to add more jobs in 2011” than in 2010, says Wells Fargo economist Mark Vitner.

Smaller companies appear to be doing the heavy lifting. March employment rose by 102,000 at small firms, 82,000 at mid size businesses and 17,000 at large ones
